The Power Station Youth Club is a safe and fun environment where young people are treated with respect. Activities include; Pool, fusball table, X-Box 360, PS2, music and sports TV channels, sofas, music room and tuck shop.

Groupwork

Let’s have a heated debate! Our groupwork sessions last about an hour and concentrate on the issues that matter most to young people; drugs and alcohol, smoking, health and nutrition, love and sex, religion and much more. Sessions are held for mixed gender groups or sometimes boys/girls only. 

All the sessions are fun and informal and relevant to young people. 

At the moment our group work session is on a Thursday evening from 8-9pm.

Computer Suite

The Power Station has an IT suite with 2 PC’s all with wirelessinternet connection. The computers are complimented by a scanner, A3 printer and digital video camera with video editing software.

The PC’s can be booked in half hour sessions for internet, researching, desktop publishing etc.

All activities in the Power Station are free and open to young people between the ages of 12 and 18 years. We do require you to fill in a membership form on your first visit but there is no cost involved in this.
